4-Amino-1,8-naphthalimide

4-Amino-1,8-naphthalimide is a fluorescent derivative that is used as a probe to detect hydrogen bonds in molecular models. It can be used to study the interactions of molecules with hydrogen bonding partners. 4-Amino-1,8-naphthalimide has been shown to have broad spectrum antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
