Riccardo Pigliucci takes the helm as Acting Executive Chairman. Riccardo is a seasoned entrepreneur and well known for his role in bringing applied genomics to a commercial success as President and Chief Operating Officer at The Perkin Elmer Corporation, now Applera Corporation. He has also previously been Chief Executive Officer of Discovery Partners and Chief Executive Officer of Life Sciences International PLC.
Dan Komarek joins as Business Development Director. Prior to working with Capsant Dan worked at BD Biosciences as the Director of Business Development where he focused on product development of instrumentation and software for the high content screening market. Dan has also been Director of the Gene Discovery Services program at Invitrogen/Life Technologies. |
